Camera and media

NightScope processes camera frames on your device to provide live visual effects. Camera frames are not uploaded by the app. Photos and videos are saved only when you press the shutter or record button. Captured media is stored in your Photos library only after you choose to save it.

Permissions

Camera permission is used for the live preview and capture. Microphone permission is used only when recording video with audio. Photo-library permission is used to save captures. You can control these permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

Purchases and RevenueCat

Purchases are processed by Apple. NightScope does not receive your full payment-card details. RevenueCat is used to validate transactions, restore access, determine whether NightScope Pro is active, prevent purchase fraud, and provide subscription analytics. For these purposes, RevenueCat processes purchase history and an app-generated anonymous user identifier.

NightScope does not connect this anonymous identifier to your name, email address, or another account. This information is not used for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

Accounts and retention

NightScope does not require an account. Purchase records are retained by Apple and RevenueCat as needed to provide and restore paid access and to meet legal obligations.
